History

Altair Equipment was formed in 1983 to provide expert services for industrial water and waste water treatment systems. Since then, we’ve grown in size, scope, and in the variety of services we offer. Today, Altair is recognized as one of the industry leaders in industrial water treatment, and our customers include major automobile manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, power suppliers, and chemical companies.

Facility

The Altair headquarters is located in Warminster Pennsylvania. The 30,000 square foot facility houses both a 60 and a 120 cubic foot regeneration facility, a softening resin regeneration plant, assembly space, QC/Testing laboratory and warehouse staging area.

Engineers

Altair Equipment Co.’s staff of engineers and CAD designers have over 200 years of experience in water treatment design, troubleshooting, start-up, assembly, application, service, and evaluation of water treatment systems.

Our staff consists of experts in their respective fields who regularly lecture and are published. Our engineers provide our clients with the best available knowledge for system designs, commissioning, and validation. Field Service

Altair Equipment Co. has extensive field/start-up service experience. We are available to supervise field erection, installation, and equipment start-up. In addition Altair Engineers are available for conducting pilot studies, plant evaluations, and system improvement recommendations. Altair’s completely equipped laboratory allows our technical staff to conduct in house pilot studies for special membrane, filtration, or ion exchange applications.
